1. The service

Tchopa prepares short videos (“reels”) from the photos, voice notes and text you send via WhatsApp or from your web dashboard, then posts them to the social networks you have connected, once you have approved them.

Tchopa never posts content without your explicit consent (“Post” button or scheduling).

2. Social networks and WhatsApp

To post, you connect your own Instagram, Facebook, TikTok or YouTube accounts to Tchopa (OAuth authorisation, which you can revoke at any time). You remain bound by those networks’ terms (Meta, TikTok, Google/YouTube) and are responsible for the content posted on your accounts. Tchopa is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, any of these networks.

You talk to the assistant through WhatsApp (Meta’s WhatsApp Business Platform) or the web chat: you agree that your messages, voice notes and photos are processed to produce your reels, and you comply with WhatsApp’s terms of use.

3. Account and access

You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for any actions taken from your account and your connected WhatsApp number. One account can manage several businesses; each invited member acts under the responsibility of the business owner.

4. Your content

You remain the owner of the photos, logos and text you send. You grant Tchopa a limited, non-exclusive licence to process them and produce your reels, for as long as the service requires.

You warrant that you hold the necessary rights, in particular the consent of any identifiable person (image rights). For any photo showing a face, Tchopa asks you to confirm this consent and keeps a time-stamped record of it.

5. The reels produced

The reels produced for you belong to you and remain usable after your credits run out or your account is closed. The templates, animations and music in the Tchopa library remain the property of Tchopa or its licensors and may not be reused outside the reels produced.

6. Welcome gift, credits and payment

Tchopa works without a subscription, with credits. On sign-up, 5 free credits are given once per business, person, email address and WhatsApp number, with no card required, after the email address and the WhatsApp number have been verified. The gift is non-refundable, cannot be exchanged and expires after 30 days.

After that, you buy credit packs (20, 45 or 75 credits), paid once through our payment provider. Purchased credits are valid for 12 months from purchase; the credits that expire first are used first. A simple reel costs 1 credit; some formats (editing your own videos, long format) and each AI option cost more: the number of credits is always shown before a reel is made, and a failed render costs nothing. Two retouches are included per reel. Purchased credits are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.

If you wish, you can turn on automatic top-up by card when your balance falls below a threshold you choose; it is capped each month and can be turned off at any time from your dashboard (Billing section). Prices are shown excluding VAT: the VAT applicable in the customer’s country is added where relevant. Every purchase comes with an invoice, available in the Billing section.

7. Closing your account

Tchopa works with no subscription and no commitment: there is nothing to cancel. You can close a business or your account at any time from your settings; any remaining credits are then lost. Automatic top-up, if turned on, stops when the account is closed or as soon as you turn it off. Tchopa may suspend an account, after notice, in the event of use contrary to these terms or to the law.

8. Liability

Tchopa undertakes to provide the service with due care (best-efforts obligation). Tchopa is not responsible for decisions made by social networks (moderation, reach, account suspension) or for the content you choose to post.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of {{COMPANY_GOVERNING_LAW}}. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought before any legal action; failing that, the competent courts shall be those of {{COMPANY_NAME}}’s registered office, subject to any applicable mandatory rules, in particular those protecting consumers in their country of residence.
